I Go Then You Go

A collaborative video by Jen Susman and Carling McManus, I Go Then You Go is set in a perfectly manicured wilderness illustrating partnership dynamics and the theatre of camping through the act of pitching a tent.
Carling and Jen have engaged in partnership dynamics on several projects ranging from curatorial endeavors to object-oriented and time-based artworks. They also really like camping.

Using only handmade techniques, found footage and newspaper clippings free-fall through the 16mm frame to explore the impact of media imagery and the psychology of fear.
